About Vidisha Patil

Vidisha Patil is a social researcher working at the intersection of socio-ecology, climate change, and the built environment. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Sustainability and Built Environment. Her research focuses on climate resilience, Indigenous and local knowledge systems (IKS), and community-led approaches to urban and environmental challenges. She previously worked with the National Coalition for Natural Farming in Gujarat under the National Mission for Natural Farming, exploring women’s participation and local knowledge in natural farming. She is focused on how social research and local knowledge can inform more just and grounded approaches to climate action.
